AMBASSADOR LIST

Dany Ma, Cambodia
I am passionate about education, the value of travelling and Cambodia’s complexed history & culture. These are part of the reasons I decided to focus on studying and working in the tourism industry - so that I could learn more myself and then share the beauty and knowledge with others. I started to work for Khiri in 2014 and joined the green team in 2015. I love that this gives me the chance to help explain more to local people about the importance of caring for our natural resources and how to encourage my own community to improve their environmental knowledge and quality of life. I also enjoy working with our suppliers to assist them in developing their businesses with more focus on sustainable responsibility. Helping to save the environment is also helping me to save my country! I look forward to my role as Ambassador for Khiri Reach and am excited about creating new projects that benefit others in my country.

Do Bich Ngoc, Vietnam
I live in Hanoi, Vietnam and consider myself very fortunate that my job allows me to meet people from many different walks of life.
It makes me feel proud of Vietnam, my beautiful and charming home country. I love traveling and my favorite places in Vietnam are Bac Ha and Can Cau markets. At the end of the year, these markets are filled with life, excitement and festivities, which makes me want to go back every year.

Born and raised in Hanoi, my passion for philanthropic work has grown as she has traveled more throughout Vietnam. I fully hope I can do something for the people in my country, especially the ethnic hill tribe people in mountainous areas and disadvantaged children. Through education, I believe they will have better opportunities in the future.

Truc Ly, Vietnam
Originating from Nha Trang, with its beautiful beaches and long coastline, my childhood is filled with beautiful memories of this city and its stunning backdrop.
My passion for philanthropy has been nurtured through years of volunteering, including organizing charity events for the homeless, giving career guidance to disadvantaged students and teaching at charitable organizations.

My first experience was with the ‘Sharing Happiness to Homeless People’ activities during Christmas 2010. It left me speechless with feelings that I will never forget. From then on, I have continued to devote my time to helping others. I have been a volunteer teacher for 2 years and I still want to continue.
I intend to pursue my passion through the work of Khiri Reach. I realize that I found myself and my passion though these social activities. I hope I can help people to have a better future and find themselves too. I encourage everyone to try and give more to others. Like Anne Frank said; ‘No one has ever become poor by giving’.

Thai Vorn, Cambodia
My name is Thai and I'm a 24 year old student of hospitality and tourism who's worked for Khiri Travel for about 2 years. I like reading, traveling and playing Australian Rules Football and Rugby. My work as an operation coordinator allows me to connect our guides and suppliers with our clients directly on the ground.

I love my job and the experiences as well as the opportunities Khiri has given me have changed my life and now I wish to do the same for others. After being part of the Green Team and learning more about better practices and how to be more responsible in our daily actions, I felt I was ready to become a Reach Ambassador and that it was time that I share what I've learned with those around me while helping Khiri do more of their important work and at the same time improving my country.

Sabaidee!
I’m Mie Mie, 25 years old. Originally born in Huaphun Province in the north of Laos, I now live and work in Vientiane.
I love my country and everything is has to offer and am very proud to call this beautiful place my home. I enjoy spending my time looking and learning about the sky, forests, animals, rivers and all the special things earth has to share. The Earth’s natural assets and its amazing biodiversity need to be cared for and protected - and this is something we must do together because we all form part of the planet’s ecosystem.
I’m very proud to be an ambassador for Khiri Reach. I have already set up and taken part in some exciting projects such as Invasive Species Clean up and Biodiversity Presentation for International Day of Biological Diversity 2018. I very feel glad to have the chance every time I join a new project and see it as a learning experience. It is a great way to meet both new and local people in my community, and encourage others to volunteer to help make a change, I learn a lot and can then share my knowledge to teach others too. It gives me more purpose and lets me do important things to help my country and the Earth.
